Job Description
Role Summary: The Operational Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks within iD Fresh Food's manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution processes. This role is crucial for ensuring business continuity, maintaining product quality and safety, and complying with regulatory standards in the fast-paced food processing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive operational risk management framework tailored to the food processing sector.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, including process mapping, vulnerability analysis, and scenario planning for production, procurement, logistics, and quality control.
- Identify potential risks related to food safety, hygiene, supply chain disruptions, equipment failure, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Design and propose mitigation strategies, internal controls, and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of identified risks.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk controls and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Investigate operational incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, R&D) to foster a risk-aware culture.
- Stay updated on relevant food industry regulations, standards (e.g., FSSAI), and best practices in operational risk management.
- Prepare regular reports on the company's risk profile, mitigation efforts, and emerging risks for senior management.
