Role Summary: The Operations Manager - Upstream will be responsible for overseeing and managing all upstream operations related to water treatment processes. This includes ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining water quality standards, optimizing resource utilization, and leading a team of engineers and technicians. The role requires a strong understanding of water treatment technologies and operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of upstream water treatment facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and optimize plant performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee the procurement and management of chemicals and consumables.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
- Lead, train, and mentor the operations team.
- Manage budgets and control operational costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
- Prepare operational reports and performance metrics.
