Role Summary:
UPL Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. While our core business is in agrochemicals, we are expanding our employee wellness initiatives and require an Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services to our workforce. This role will focus on conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and promoting eye health awareness within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions and diseases.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and ophthalmic technology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
