Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect vision defects and eye diseases.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
- Advise patients on eye care, hygiene, and preventative measures.
- Interpret optometric diagnostic tests and medical history.
- Assist in the development and review of insurance policy terms and conditions related to vision care, ensuring legal compliance.
- Provide expert opinions on optometric claims and disputes, liaising with legal and claims departments.
- Stay updated on relevant Indian eye care regulations and legal precedents affecting the insurance sector.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to data privacy laws.
