Ordinary Seaman (OS)

Role Summary: The Ordinary Seaman (OS) will be responsible for assisting the deck department in various shipboard operations, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the vessel, and performing general maintenance tasks. This role requires a willingness to learn and adapt to the maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of the ship's deck, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.

Participate in mooring and unmooring operations.

Help in cargo operations as directed by senior officers.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and accommodation spaces.

Perform lookout duties as assigned.

Assist in safety drills and emergency response procedures.

Learn and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Master or senior officers.
