Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Orthopedist with a strong business acumen, ideally holding an MBA/PGDM, to join our dynamic Import & Export division. This role focuses on the strategic sourcing and distribution of orthopedic medical devices and equipment, leveraging your clinical understanding with business management principles. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of high-quality orthopedic products into and out of India, contributing to our global supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for importing and exporting orthopedic products, including implants, surgical instruments, and rehabilitation equipment.
- Collaborate with international suppliers and domestic distributors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian and international regulations for medical device import and export.
- Manage inventory levels and logistics for orthopedic products, optimizing for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical expertise on orthopedic products to the sales and marketing teams.
- Assist in the development of business strategies for the orthopedic segment within the import and export framework.
- Conduct market research to understand competitor activities and customer needs in the orthopedic sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and logistics partners.
