Partner / Director (LLB Required) - Chandigarh

We are seeking a motivated and legally astute individual to join our Chandigarh office as a Partner / Director. This role is ideal for an aspiring legal professional with 0-2 years of experience who is eager to contribute to the strategic and operational success of a leading player in the Indian Gems & Jewellery industry. You will work closely with senior management, providing legal insights and support to drive business growth and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal agreements, contracts, and MOUs relevant to the company's operations.
- Provide legal support for corporate governance matters, including board meetings and statutory filings.
- Conduct legal research on emerging trends and regulatory changes affecting the gems and jewellery sector in India.
- Support the legal team in litigation management and dispute resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection, intellectual property, and foreign exchange laws.
- Advise on employment law matters and assist in drafting HR policies.
- Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies from a legal perspective.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and government agencies as required.
