Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Pastry Chef with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) degree to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing a wide range of high-quality pastry products, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will leverage their pharmaceutical background to understand ingredient properties, shelf-life extension, and formulation precision, bringing a unique scientific approach to culinary arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and create innovative pastry recipes, including cakes, cookies, breads, desserts, and other baked goods, with a focus on unique flavor profiles and textures.
Apply knowledge of food chemistry and ingredient interactions, gained from M.Pharma studies, to optimize formulations for taste, stability, and shelf-life.
Oversee all aspects of the pastry production process, from ingredient sourcing and preparation to final plating and presentation.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP, FSSAI guidelines).
Manage inventory of pastry ingredients, ensuring timely ordering and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings.
Stay updated with the latest trends in pastry arts and food technology.
