Pathologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pathologist to join our Quality Assurance team at Nestlé India. The Pathologist will be responsible for overseeing and conducting various laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of our food and beverage products. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to 'Nutrition, Health and Wellness' and upholding the highest standards of product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microscopic and macroscopic examination of biological samples related to food safety and quality.
• Perform microbiological, biochemical, and immunological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Analyze test results, interpret data, and generate comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop and validate new testing methodologies and protocols to enhance product safety and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO).
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality Control teams to address any quality-related issues.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and manage inventory of reagents and supplies.
• Provide expert advice and training to other team members on pathological and microbiological aspects of food safety.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pathology, microbiology, and food science relevant to the FMCG industry.
