Pattern Master

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pattern Master to join our dynamic team within the Engineering & Construction division. The Pattern Master will be responsible for creating, developing, and overseeing the production of patterns for castings and molds, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to design specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of foundry processes, material science, and CAD/CAM technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to create accurate patterns.
- Design and fabricate patterns using various materials (wood, metal, plastic, foam) suitable for the intended casting process.
- Utilize CNC machining and CAD/CAM software for pattern design and manufacturing.
- Oversee the pattern-making process, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Collaborate with foundry engineers and design teams to optimize pattern design for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform quality checks on finished patterns, verifying against specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to pattern design or production.
- Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pattern-making techniques and technologies.
