Job Description

Role Summary:
HUL is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, managing payroll-related queries, and maintaining compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and company policies. This role is crucial for supporting our large and diverse workforce across India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax, and Income Tax (TDS).
- Ensure compliance with the Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other relevant labor laws.
- Manage employee queries related to payroll, salary slips, and statutory compliances.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant government agencies.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments for seamless payroll operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation.
- Stay abreast of changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.
- Assist in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
