Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Payroll Executive to join our finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll software (e.g., SAP HR, Oracle HCM, or similar).
* Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including PF, ESI, PT, and TDS deductions and filings.
* Manage employee data, including new joiners, leavers, and any changes to salary, benefits, or personal information.
* Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
* Prepare and distribute payroll-related documents, including salary slips and tax statements.
* Respond to employee queries regarding payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
* Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll best practices.
