Payroll Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of our payroll operations at our Coimbatore facility. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal background (LLB) to ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies, manage payroll processing efficiently, and provide strategic insights. This role is crucial for maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary, deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Interpret and apply Indian labor laws, tax regulations (TDS, PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.), and other relevant legislation to payroll processing.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Supervise and mentor the payroll team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and rectify errors, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and recommend necessary adjustments to payroll policies and procedures.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll and benefits, providing clear and accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to payroll and employee compensation.
