Payroll & Transactions Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll & Transactions Specialist to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, managing employee expense reimbursements, and handling various financial transactions in compliance with company policies and Indian labor laws. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our payroll and transaction systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).
- Manage employee expense reimbursements, including verification of claims, processing payments, and maintaining records.
- Handle all payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions.
- Reconcile payroll data with the general ledger and other financial systems.
- Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of taxes, bonuses, and other statutory payments.
- Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports for management and statutory bodies.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws and tax regulations affecting payroll.
- Perform other ad-hoc financial transaction processing and reconciliation tasks as assigned.
