Role Summary:
Niva Bupa Health Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Surgeon to join our medical advisory team. This role will be instrumental in developing and refining our health insurance products and services related to pediatric care, ensuring they meet the highest standards of medical efficacy and patient well-being. You will leverage your extensive clinical experience to provide expert insights, contribute to policy development, and support our claims assessment process for complex pediatric cases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert medical opinion and guidance on pediatric surgical conditions and treatments for policy development and underwriting.
2. Review and assess complex medical claims related to pediatric surgeries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy terms.
3. Collaborate with product development teams to design and enhance health insurance plans covering pediatric surgical needs.
4. Stay abreast of the latest advancements, research, and best practices in pediatric surgery and incorporate them into company guidelines.
5. Assist in developing training materials and conducting workshops for internal teams on pediatric surgical care and related insurance aspects.
6. Liaise with healthcare providers and medical networks to ensure quality of care for insured patients.
