Role Summary: The Personal Injury Claims Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing personal injury claims arising from incidents within DMart's retail locations across India. This role requires a thorough understanding of Indian legal frameworks related to personal injury, insurance, and consumer protection. The specialist will ensure fair and efficient resolution of claims, protect the company's interests, and maintain positive customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and assess the validity of personal injury claims reported by customers and employees.
- Gather and review all relevant documentation, including incident reports, medical records, witness statements, and legal notices.
- Liaise with legal counsel, insurance providers, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to facilitate claim resolution.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations pertaining to personal injury claims and consumer rights.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims, communications, and resolutions in the claims management system.
- Provide guidance and support to store management and staff on incident reporting and initial claim procedures.
- Identify trends and patterns in claims to recommend preventive measures and improve safety protocols.
