Petrophysicist

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Petrophysicist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of well log data, reservoir characterization, and providing critical insights for exploration and production activities. This role requires a strong understanding of geological principles, rock-rock physics, and data analysis techniques within the context of IT-driven solutions for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze and interpret various types of well log data (e.g., resistivity, porosity, gamma ray, sonic) to determine reservoir properties.
* Perform core analysis and integrate with log data for comprehensive reservoir characterization.
* Develop and apply advanced petrophysical models for fluid saturation, permeability, and lithology estimation.
* Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon potential in new and existing fields.
* Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and data scientists to provide integrated subsurface solutions.
* Utilize advanced software and computational tools for data processing, interpretation, and visualization.
* Prepare detailed petrophysical reports and present findings to management and project teams.
* Contribute to the development of data-driven workflows and best practices within the organization.
* Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in petrophysics and their application in IT solutions.
