Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Petrophysicist to join our innovative team. While our industry is Sports / Leisure & Recreation, this unique role will involve analyzing subsurface data related to potential leisure development sites, such as water resource assessment for resorts, geological stability for adventure parks, or soil composition for sports facilities. The Petrophysicist will be crucial in providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions regarding land acquisition, site development, and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret well log data, core data, and other subsurface information to understand geological formations and fluid properties.
- Develop and calibrate petrophysical models to estimate reservoir characteristics (e.g., porosity, permeability, water saturation) relevant to leisure site development.
- Assess geological risks and opportunities associated with potential development sites.
- Evaluate water availability and quality for resort or recreational facility needs.
- Advise on soil mechanics and geological stability for construction of sports fields, adventure parks, or other leisure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and project managers to integrate petrophysical findings into site selection and development plans.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in petrophysics and relevant analytical techniques.
