Role Summary: This role is crucial for managing and optimizing the logistics and supply chain operations for pharmaceutical and biotechnology products within Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone's extensive network. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant handling of sensitive cargo, contributing to the seamless flow of these critical goods through our ports and SEZs. This position requires a deep understanding of the unique requirements of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, coupled with expertise in port operations and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement specialized logistics strategies for pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, ensuring adherence to temperature control, cold chain, and other specific handling requirements.
• Oversee the safe and compliant storage, handling, and transportation of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products within port facilities and SEZs.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and clients to ensure all operations meet national and international standards for pharmaceutical and biotech cargo handling.
• Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to optimize the supply chain for pharmaceutical clients.
• Implement and monitor advanced tracking and tracing systems for high-value and sensitive pharmaceutical shipments.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the handling and storage of pharmaceutical and biotech goods, including temperature excursions, contamination, and security breaches.
• Contribute to the development of new services and infrastructure within APSEZ to cater to the growing pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
