Phlebotomist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. While our core business is design, we prioritize the well-being of our employees and are establishing an on-site wellness program. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from employees for routine health check-ups and screenings. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples from employees accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for blood collection by explaining the procedure and answering any questions.
- Ensure proper identification of patients and labeling of samples.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Handle and process collected samples according to laboratory guidelines.
- Dispose of contaminated materials and sharps safely.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Communicate effectively with employees and internal health coordinators.
- Monitor for any adverse reactions during or after sample collection and respond appropriately.
- Keep inventory of phlebotomy supplies and reorder as needed.
