Phlebotomist

Role Summary: The Phlebotomist will be responsible for accurately collecting blood samples from guests and staff, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role is crucial for supporting the health and wellness programs offered within ITC Hotels' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture techniques.
• Verify patient identification and explain the procedure to alleviate patient anxiety.
• Prepare patients for blood collection, including selecting the correct equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.
• Label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean and maintain phlebotomy equipment and work area.
• Assist with other medical or administrative tasks as needed.
