Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Physical Design / Layout Engineer with a BBA/BBM degree and 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role will be instrumental in optimizing the physical layout and design of our retail spaces, ensuring efficient space utilization, enhanced customer flow, and adherence to brand standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective store designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize store layouts and floor plans to maximize sales per square foot and improve customer experience.
- Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to understand product placement strategies and promotional needs.
- Conduct site surveys and analyze existing store layouts to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Manage the design process from concept to implementation, including vendor coordination.
- Analyze space utilization data and provide recommendations for layout adjustments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of store renovations and new store openings.
- Maintain accurate records of all design documentation and project progress.
