Physical Design / Layout Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physical Design / Layout Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical implementation of complex integrated circuits (ICs), ensuring high performance, low power consumption, and optimal area utilization. You will work closely with RTL designers and verification engineers to achieve tape-out goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-custom layout design and verification for analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuits.
- Develop and maintain layout design rules and methodologies.
- Utilize advanced layout tools for placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization.
- Conduct layout parasitic extraction and analysis.
- Perform design rule checking (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RTL, Verification, DFT, Process Technology) to meet design specifications and schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues during the design cycle.
- Document layout procedures, methodologies, and design reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical design and semiconductor technology.
