Job Description
Role Summary: The Pipeline Control Center Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of products through the company's extensive retail supply chain pipelines, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and adherence to strict operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor real-time data from various pipeline control systems, including SCADA, DCS, and other relevant technologies.
Operate and adjust control systems to maintain optimal flow rates, pressure, and temperature within specified parameters.
Identify and respond to alarms, anomalies, and deviations from normal operating conditions promptly and effectively.
Communicate effectively with field operators, maintenance teams, and management regarding operational status, issues, and planned activities.
Maintain accurate logs of all operational activities, incidents, and communications.
Participate in shift handovers, ensuring continuity of operations and clear communication of critical information.
Adhere to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and emergency response plans.
Assist in troubleshooting operational problems and implementing corrective actions.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
