Role Summary:
As a Pipeline Control Center Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the safe and efficient operation of our extensive pipeline network. You will utilize sophisticated SCADA systems and communication tools to ensure the integrity of the pipelines, respond to operational issues, and maintain seamless product flow. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and safety standards within our metals and mining logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor pipeline operations in real-time using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
2. Analyze operational data, alarms, and trends to identify potential issues or deviations from normal operating parameters.
3. Operate and control pipeline valves, pumps, and other equipment remotely to ensure optimal flow and pressure management.
4. Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and abnormal operating conditions, following established procedures.
5. Communicate effectively with field personnel, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding operational status and any required actions.
6. Maintain accurate logs and records of all operational activities, incidents, and communications.
7. Participate in shift work and provide continuous monitoring coverage as required.
8. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
