Role Summary:
ONGC is seeking a dedicated and proactive Placement / Alumni Officer to manage and enhance its campus recruitment programs and strengthen relationships with past students and employees. This role is crucial for attracting top talent from academic institutions and fostering a strong, engaged alumni network that contributes to the company's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective campus recruitment strategies to identify and recruit promising talent from leading engineering and management institutes across India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with placement cells and faculty at target universities and colleges.
- Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, including pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to offer roll-out and onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage and retain alumni, fostering a sense of community and connection with ONGC.
- Organize alumni events, reunions, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain an up-to-date alumni database and communication channels.
- Track and report on key placement metrics, including offer acceptance rates, joining percentages, and alumni engagement.
- Collaborate with HR and business units to understand talent needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Provide support and guidance to students/candidates throughout the placement process.
- Manage the company's presence on professional networking platforms for alumni engagement.
