Placement & Alumni Relations Officer (2 Years Experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Placement & Alumni Relations Officer to join our team. This role is crucial for fostering strong connections with our alumni network and facilitating placement opportunities, particularly leveraging your M.Pharma background for industry linkages within the pharmaceutical and healthcare adjacent consumer electronics sectors. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between academic excellence and industry readiness, ensuring our graduates find rewarding career paths and our alumni remain engaged with the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to engage the alumni network, encouraging participation in placement drives, guest lectures, and mentorship programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential employers, including pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and consumer electronics firms, to identify and create internship and job opportunities.
- Organize and coordinate placement drives, career fairs, and industry interaction sessions.
- Manage the alumni database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact information and professional profiles.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in resume building, interview preparation, and career planning.
- Leverage your M.Pharma knowledge to identify and connect with organizations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare product sectors for placement and collaboration.
- Track and report on placement statistics, alumni engagement levels, and the success of career development initiatives.
- Facilitate networking events and reunions to strengthen alumni bonds and institutional pride.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand program offerings and student skill sets for effective placement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market demands to advise students and employers accordingly.
