Plant / Factory Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and visionary Plant / Factory Head to lead our advanced manufacturing facility in Bangalore. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, innovation, and strategic growth within our industrial automation division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background with a Doctorate/PhD and 2-4 years of post-doctoral experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, research and development, and strategic management. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and logistics.
- Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, leveraging advanced technologies and research findings.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Manage and optimize plant budgets, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and operational staff.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and sales departments to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
