Plant Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to oversee the entire manufacturing operations of our automotive plant in India. The Plant Head will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing all aspects of plant management, including operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and personnel. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement plant strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Manage day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and develop the plant workforce, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Control plant budget, manage costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, R&D, sales) to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and drive initiatives to improve product quality.
