Job Description
Role Summary: The Plant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of plant-related projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects within the defence and aerospace manufacturing environment. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Manage project execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the defence and aerospace sector.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
- Facilitate project closure, including lessons learned and final documentation.
