Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of new plant construction and expansion projects within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk assessment.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
- Oversee site selection, feasibility studies, and conceptual design.
- Manage all phases of plant construction, from groundbreaking to commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes.
