Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and innovative Plumber with a strong academic background, evidenced by a Doctorate/PhD, to join our Packaging & Containers division in Chandigarh. This role is critical for optimizing and troubleshooting complex fluid and material handling systems within our advanced manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will leverage their advanced research and analytical skills to contribute to process improvements, material science applications, and innovative solutions in plumbing and fluid dynamics relevant to packaging production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain sophisticated plumbing and fluid transfer systems for packaging machinery and production lines.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the properties of various fluids and materials used in packaging processes, with a focus on their flow dynamics and compatibility with plumbing infrastructure.
- Develop and implement advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve complex issues within the plumbing systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to explore and integrate novel materials and technologies for enhanced plumbing system performance and longevity.
- Apply theoretical knowledge from a PhD in areas such as fluid mechanics, materials science, or chemical engineering to practical problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
- Develop and document best practices, standard operating procedures, and training materials for plumbing operations, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards in the operation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair specialized equipment related to fluid handling and waste management within the packaging production process.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools to monitor system performance and identify predictive maintenance opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable plumbing solutions, including water conservation and efficient waste disposal methods.
