Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Plumber with a B.Pharma background to join our team in Nagpur. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of plumbing systems within our port and shipping facilities, with a unique focus on pharmaceutical-grade water systems and specialized chemical handling infrastructure. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of pharmaceutical processes and safety protocols to maintain a sterile and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing apparatus, with a particular emphasis on systems handling sensitive materials.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially those pertaining to pharmaceutical and chemical handling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems and the requirements for installation or repair.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure, identifying and rectifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems, implementing effective and efficient solutions.
- Work with specialized materials and equipment relevant to pharmaceutical and chemical processing environments.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
