Role Summary:
BYJU'S is seeking a qualified and compassionate Podiatry Surgeon to join our expanding wellness team. This role will focus on providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to our employees, promoting a healthy and productive work environment. The Podiatry Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of conditions affecting the lower extremities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, etc.) to diagnose foot and ankle conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including conservative management (orthotics, physical therapy referrals) and surgical interventions.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures on the foot and ankle, such as bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, fracture repairs, and arthroscopies.
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Educate patients on preventative foot care, proper footwear, and management of chronic conditions like diabetes-related foot complications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, orthopedists, and physical therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in podiatric medicine and surgery.
- Participate in wellness programs and initiatives aimed at promoting employee health and well-being.
