Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Podiatry Surgeon to join our growing medical team. The Podiatry Surgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg. This role requires a deep understanding of biomechanics, surgical techniques, and patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including deformities, injuries, infections, and diseases.
- Perform surgical procedures on the foot and ankle, such as bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic procedures.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including conservative management, medication, physical therapy, and orthotics.
- Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, and diabetologists, to provide holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and surgical techniques.
