Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to manage and optimize our port and maritime operations. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods through various maritime channels, contributing directly to our overall logistics and supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maritime logistics, including coordination with shipping lines, port authorities, and customs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of sea freight operations, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port authorities to ensure timely vessel berthing, cargo handling, and customs clearance.
- Monitor vessel movements and cargo status, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations, customs laws, and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the port and maritime industry.
- Optimize shipping routes and modes of transport to reduce costs and transit times.
- Prepare operational reports, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and resolve any operational discrepancies or disputes.
- Oversee the safe and efficient handling of cargo at port facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehousing, transportation) to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics.
