Port & Maritime Operations - Other

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and optimize port and maritime operations related to the import and export of chemicals for our Indian facilities. This role will ensure the efficient, safe, and compliant movement of raw materials and finished products through various port infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of port operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and customs clearance for chemical shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime regulations, safety standards (e.g., IMDG Code), and environmental protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with port authorities, shipping lines, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and optimize logistics costs associated with port activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, production, supply chain) to ensure timely delivery of materials and dispatch of products.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to port operations efficiency and safety.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks.
- Manage emergency response procedures related to maritime incidents involving chemical cargo.
- Conduct regular site visits to ports and terminals to assess operations and ensure adherence to company standards.
