Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) degree to join our Port & Maritime Operations team in Guwahati. This role will leverage your scientific background to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations pertaining to port and maritime activities, with a specific focus on the unique operational demands of an aviation-linked port facility. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing protocols related to the safe handling, storage, and transportation of materials, ensuring adherence to international and national standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an M.Pharma graduate looking to transition into a critical operational role within the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures for port and maritime operations, ensuring alignment with aviation industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for the handling, storage, and transportation of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other regulated materials within the port vicinity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international regulations governing port operations, hazardous materials, and environmental protection.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, port authorities, and internal stakeholders to maintain operational integrity and safety.
- Oversee the proper disposal of waste materials and ensure environmental sustainability practices are followed.
- Manage and maintain inventory of safety equipment and ensure their regular inspection and maintenance.
- Investigate any incidents or accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training to staff on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and their application in operational safety and environmental management within port and maritime contexts.
