Role Summary: The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of clinical research projects, ensuring successful execution, timely delivery, and adherence to budget and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic CRO environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the project portfolio, aligning with company objectives and client needs.
Oversee the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of multiple clinical research projects simultaneously.
Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, escalations, and strategic discussions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., GCP, ICH) and internal SOPs.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Contribute to business development activities by providing input on project proposals and client strategies.
