Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power Generation Engineer to oversee and manage the power generation and utility systems at our manufacturing facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe power supply to support our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power plant operations, maintenance, and energy management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the operation and maintenance of captive power plants, including DG sets, boilers, and associated equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to power generation and utilities.
Monitor power consumption and implement energy efficiency measures to reduce operational costs.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all power generation and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to power supply, generation, or utility systems.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of power generation, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, and operational parameters.
Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new power generation and utility infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team.
