Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage and oversee the power generation infrastructure within our hospital network. This role is crucial for ensuring uninterrupted power supply, which is vital for critical medical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation, maintenance, and optimization of all power generation systems, including backup generators and renewable energy sources where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all hospital power generation units, including diesel generators, UPS systems, and any alternative energy sources.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of power generation equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and rectify potential issues before they impact operations.
- Manage fuel inventory and procurement for diesel generators, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and electrical codes.
- Monitor power consumption patterns and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and energy usage for management.
- Respond to power-related emergencies and implement contingency plans to minimize downtime.
