Power Plant Technician

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Plant Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power generation equipment and systems within our investment banking operations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a power plant environment, ensuring reliable and efficient energy supply to support our critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor power generation equipment, including generators, turbines, and associated control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all power plant machinery and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and energy consumption.
- Respond to emergency situations and power outages, implementing contingency plans.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external vendors for equipment upgrades and major repairs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor fuel supply and quality, ensuring optimal combustion and efficiency.
- Conduct safety drills and training for plant personnel.
