Role Summary: The Power Plant Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power generation equipment within Havells' manufacturing facilities. This role ensures the reliable and efficient supply of power to support production operations. The technician will adhere to strict safety protocols and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor power generation equipment, including generators, turbines, and associated control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive servicing of all power plant machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in power generation systems.
- Respond to power plant emergencies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and operational data.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize plant efficiency and reliability.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power generation equipment.
