Power Plant Technician

Role Summary: The Power Plant Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power generation equipment and systems within L&T's power plant facilities in India. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor power plant equipment, including turbines, generators, boilers, and auxiliary systems.

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on plant machinery and systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.

Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and operational data.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and plant sections.

Respond to plant emergencies and implement shutdown procedures as required.

Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to optimize plant performance.
