Power Production Manager

Role Summary: The Power Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the energy generation and distribution systems within BYJU'S educational facilities and data centers in India. This role requires a strategic approach to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power supply, aligning with the company's operational needs and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for power generation, including renewable energy integration and backup power solutions.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of all power generation equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety standards for power production.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source and manage contracts for fuel, equipment, and maintenance services.
- Develop and manage the budget for power production operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of power engineers and technicians.
- Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of power systems.
- Respond to and resolve any power outages or system failures promptly.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in power generation and energy management.
