Power Production Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Power Production Manager to oversee and optimize the power generation and distribution systems within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power supply, crucial for our continuous leather production operations. This role involves managing all aspects of power plant operations, maintenance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient power generation, including renewable energy integration where feasible.
• Manage the daily operations of power generation units (e.g., boilers, generators, transformers) ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all power generation and distribution equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory standards for power generation.
• Monitor power consumption patterns and identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost reduction.
• Manage a team of power plant operators and maintenance staff, providing training and performance management.
• Develop and manage the budget for the power production department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any power-related issues that may impact production.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and procurement.
