Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Power Production Manager to oversee and optimize the power generation and distribution infrastructure for our critical IT operations in India. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power supply to support our data centers and office facilities, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for optimal power generation, including renewable energy integration where feasible.
Manage the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment (e.g., generators, UPS systems, solar panels).
Monitor power consumption patterns and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.
Ensure continuous and uninterrupted power supply to all IT infrastructure and facilities.
Oversee the procurement of fuel, spare parts, and other necessary resources for power generation.
Develop and manage budgets for power production operations.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations related to power generation and environmental standards.
Lead and mentor a team of power generation technicians and engineers.
Implement and maintain robust safety protocols for all power generation activities.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to understand power requirements and potential impacts of new deployments.
