Power Supply and Distribution Specialist - Import/Export Operations

Role Summary: The Power Supply and Distribution Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient supply of electrical power to support the critical operations within our import and export facilities. This role will involve managing power infrastructure, coordinating with utility providers, and implementing strategies to minimize downtime and optimize energy consumption in a high-volume logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all power supply and distribution systems within the port and SEZ.
• Liaise with external electricity utility providers to ensure consistent power availability and negotiate service level agreements.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electrical equipment.
• Monitor power consumption patterns and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Respond to power outages and emergencies, coordinating repair efforts and ensuring rapid restoration of services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and electrical codes for power distribution systems.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of spare parts and materials for power distribution infrastructure.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to plan for future power requirements and infrastructure upgrades.
