Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power Supply Technician with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Pharma degree and a keen understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on the reliable operation and maintenance of power supply systems critical to our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of our research and development facilities and manufacturing units, adhering to stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain all types of power supply equipment, including generators, UPS systems, and electrical distribution panels, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of power systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, electrical codes, and pharmaceutical industry standards (e.g., GMP, GLP) in all power supply operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to understand their power requirements and provide technical support.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
Respond to power-related emergencies and implement corrective actions promptly.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power supply equipment.
