Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pre Silicon Test Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge hardware designs before they move to physical silicon. You will be instrumental in developing and executing test strategies for complex System-on-Chips (SoCs) and hardware components, working closely with design and verification teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive pre-silicon test plans and methodologies.
- Create and maintain testbenches using SystemVerilog, UVM, or similar methodologies.
- Write directed tests and constrained-random test cases to verify specific design features and corner cases.
- Debug failing tests and work with design engineers to resolve issues.
- Utilize simulation tools (e.g., VCS, QuestaSim) for test execution and analysis.
- Collaborate with the verification team to ensure coverage goals are met.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the verification environment.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a testability perspective.
